The School
Our first project is Uthiru Primary School, a mixed integrated day school which is located South of the City Center of Nairobi, between Kikuyu and Kangemi, in Kenya, East Africa.
90% of all donations go directly to feeding a child in need.
The Children
Every day more than 66 million children go to school hungry. Research shows that providing in-school meals, mid-morning snacks, and take-home rations through school feeding programs can alleviate short-term hunger, increase children’s abilities to concentrate, learn and perform specific tasks.
We are presently supporting 20 children at the school by providing them with free lunch 5 days a week. It only costs $5 or Ksh 500 to feed one child for one month.
